The annual My Family Weekend is back again! Running from 6 September, Friday to 8 September, Sunday, this presents a great opportunity for all employers to show their commitment towards building family-friendly workplaces and strong families in Singapore. As 6 September falls on Teachers’ Day school holiday, pre-school centres and schools will be closed and parents need the additional support to take care of their young child. Hence, your action as an employer is critical in creating a family-friendly workplace environment so that family life is achievable. Pledge your support for our families by having these family-friendly workplace options on 6 September:
More than 250 employers pledged support for My Family Weekend 2018 by putting in place family-friendly practices at the workplace in celebration of My Family Weekend last year. Watch how these employers joined us in our effort in supporting family life at the workplace.

Companies are welcome to apply for a complimentary FAMILY 365 workshop as part of the BYFTWD’s programme. Employees, who feel their bosses are supportive towards their family, are more motivated, engaged and loyal to the company. How can you inspire employees to be more committed? Meet My Boss - a meaningful take on 'Bring Your Child to Work' - is your answer! Show appreciation for employees by inviting their children to meet the boss and use the thoughtful programme for parent-child bonding and community fostering. By investing in their lives outside work, you'll ignite a healthier, happier work environment. Download a free Meet My Boss Toolkit to learn some recommended activities for the day.
