    Speaker Profile: Mr. Ahmad Taufiq, a compassionate, committed and an inspirational speaker, has more than 18 years of experience in conducting life skills and family education in primary and secondary schools, junior colleges and tertiary institutions in Singapore, including conducting programs for at risk/ underprivileged children and youths in topics like bullying, self-harm and a myriad of children and youth issues.

    He is experienced in engaging parents to discuss their role in providing social and emotional support to their children from parenting talks, one on one consultation with the Triple P framework and in private clinical settings. He has much experience coaching, mentoring and counselling teenagers from troubled backgrounds in school settings, tertiary institutions and post formal education too.

    Taufiq was a counsellor for Singapore Civil Defence Force, SCDF, providing counselling services to new recruits, fire-fighters and national service personnel in SCDF Detention Barracks. He was part of CARE Singapore from 2005 to 2010 providing school social services to youths at risk and working with their families. Currently he is engaged by the Home Team Academy to provide training for the police officers on the managing Domestic Violence.

    3Pumpkins will be broadcasting programmes from radio plays, story-telling, and talk shows. The programmes will run every Tuesday to Sunday at 9pm from 5 May to mid-July.
    Programmes are in Mandarin, dialects, and Malay, born out of the need to engage seniors and promote intergenerational and intercultural understanding.

    These SEL Holiday Care Packs were specially prepared to help students stay positive, stay healthy, and stay safe online. They also contain suggestions on how they can make the best use of the break through Values In Action@Home, family bonding activities and Arts activities.

    This Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) series “在线加油站 e-Kiosk 234” is conducted in Mandarin on every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and it showcases experts from different professions to share on their exciting journey and experiences It aims to empower the seniors with exposure to topics such as insights into different occupations, health and wellness and topics that are relevant to them. At the same time, it also hopes to motivate and encourage seniors during the circuit breaker period.
