Synopsis

In today’s demanding and fast-paced work environment, our workers faced much stress in their work. Such stress is a threat to the workers’ physical health, psychological health, and work performance. Prolonged experience of such stress could result in the worker’s inability to adapt to or respond properly to things in life situations.

In recent years, Adversity Quotient (AQ) has been used as a means to measure people’s capacity to respond to and surmount adversity. The Adversity Quotient measures a person’s attitude and capability to deal with these stress sources.

Knowing and improving the worker’s Adversity Quotient, would aid the individual in lowering his/her perception of job stress and make it less likely for him/her to be influenced by frustration and obstacles. Thus, improving your Adversity Quotient can have a significant and positive influence on the workers’ job performance.

In this session participants will learn:
• What is Adversity Quotient
• Factors affect AQ
• Adversity Quotient Quiz
• How to Improve your AQ
• Where to seek help
