Every human being is ageing every day. The process of ageing starts as soon as a baby enters into this world. For those of you who have already lived half your life, what are the thoughts going through your minds?

Some seem to push themselves harder in their careers; some begin playing dangerous sports; some throw bigger parties or look for younger partners; while there are others who become more withdrawn and alienated from people.

The talk covers the subject of adult life crises and talks about the stages of adult life. Briefly, some pointers raised by Gail Sheehy, the popular author of “New Passages”, and other gerontology experts shall be highlighted in the talk. The highlights include social relations and self-esteem, marital intimacy, feeling lonely versus being alone, and mental health of older persons.
