Planning a birthday party for a group of highly energetic kids is always challenging. Too little activity and you will have a horde of restless children on your hands, ready to make their own rules. Too much unsupervised activity could lead to a dangerous situation too. Well, here is a great way to host a party with just the right level of supervision, learning and exercise.

A Rock Climbing Gym for Children

The Rock School of Singapore specialises in teaching rock climbing skills and sharing their passion for this sport with children. Its rock climbing walls are crafted for children between the ages of 4 and 14.

They have several courses which include the Fun Climb which is a 2 hour beginner’s workshop. If your kids enjoy the bouldering obstacle courses and games they can progress to the Pebbles leisure climbing course and then the Step Up course which teaches more technical skills through a series of structured coaching sessions.

In addition to the various course levels including a parent-child program, they also organize rock climbing expeditions, carnivals and birthday parties.

Birthday Parties

Various birthday party packages are also available. A birthday package will include exclusive use not only of their party room, but also of the bouldering and high wall spaces. Games, goodie bags and party hosts come with the birthday packages.

In addition to their basic ABC package, they also offer 2 themed packages – A Pirates theme and a Superheroes theme. Both come with their own specially created and themed party games and activities. You can cater your own food, or if it’s part of a themed package, party food is also provided.

So, if you are looking for a fun, active and fuss free birthday, a rock climbing party might just be it!
